Still Standing

It must be nearly 80 today. SO beautiful! Hubby and I took a 2 hour lunch break, away from all the demands of work, and walked the Greenway for a few miles. Amber enjoyed herself thoroughly, and fell to the floor in a white fluffy heap, asleep the moment we got home! You know you did well when the hyper puppy is tired out.

We got some lovely river photos, field scenes, all for future painting references... But they reminded me much of this painting:

"Still Standing" a 24x36 original oil on canvas

I love the title of this painting, "Still Standing". It's amazing how beautiful age becomes...Something/someone, established, with years of history and stories, so many of them which are visible by the markings left behind... It is what makes beauty, beautiful! I love it!

  1. I agree with your thoughts. Things, places and people become more beautiful as they age. Their stories and experiences already tell. I love the painting too. Have a great day ahead! :)

I sure do love to hear from ya'll
